"It's not that explainable"
FWIW, I think a book's advantages are incredibly explainable.
To take one, a book is extraordinarily ruggedized compared to an electronic reader. You can drop a book, bend a book, briefly immerse a book, scratch a book, smash a book, freeze a book, scorch a book, crush a book, and it'll still work well.
To take a couple more that could easily be explained at great length:
- Disposability (cost)
- Legibility and comfort
And the list could go on.
